New England Integrative Health Associates offers free nutrition class

WEST HARTFORD - New England Integrative Health Associates (NEIHA), will offer the public a free 90-minute nutritional seminar led by leading personal nutritional counselor Lisa Wilson. The class be Wednesday May 25 from 6:30 - 8 p.m. at the West Hartford Senior Center, 15 Starkel Rd., Bishop's Corner, West Hartford.

The class will highlight current nutritional trends including dinner-plate choices that can sabotage our health, easy weight-loss tips, healing at the cellular level, and the power of medicinal foods, as well as provide pointers on selecting foods that boost energy and draw attention to toxins in the products we eat every day.

Attendees will receive a complimentary assessment of B.I.A, a measure of total body composition - body fat, muscle, lean body mass.

New England Integrative Health Associates, slated to open in August, will offer a comprehensive array of services from traditional medical protocols and alternative health care options to support patients in reaching their health and wellness goals.
